CORPORATE SPONSORS:

Event Information and Directions

It's amazing how just three short hours can do so much good.

The concept is simple: participants ask their friends and family to sponsor them as each participant throws 20 foul shots to raise money for charity. You don't have to be a star player to participate. The event has been designed to allow even those who are not athletic to have a safe, challenging and rewarding experience.

Event Details.

Hoop-A-Paluza will be held this year on Sunday, November 18, 2007, from noon until 3:00 pm at the Millburn High School in Millburn, NJ.

Shooting.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
As a participant, you are pledging to make 20 attempts at sinking foul shots. You can ask your sponsors to donate on a per-basket basis. However, it is far easier (and strongly recommended) to remind your friends and family that you're here to raise money for charity, and to ask them to sponsor you for a flat amount - whether you sink 0 baskets or all 20. Hoop-A-Paluza, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

How Much Must I Raise?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Many first-time participants are surprised that we don't charge anything for the beverages, food, rides or contests at Hoop-A-Paluza.  This is our -- and our corporate sponsors' -- way of thanking you for your hard work to support a good cause.  As a guideline, many adult participants pledge to try to raise a minimum of $500; many children attempt to raise $100.  This is only a guideline -- we welcome your participation and contributions at any level.
